Certification and compliance are an important area for Tecman, our ethos for developing face and eye protection that comply with our 4 Pillars of Comfort ensure that we address both the comfort and safety concerns of healthcare workers.
Working with SATRA Technology
We use the most reputable test houses and notifying bodies to test our products and materials.
Tecman work with SATRA Technology, the UK’s leading independent research and testing organisation, and a Notified Body for various European directives, including PPE.
We continually provide samples of our disposable face shield to be resubmitted and tested to the criteria of the British Standards.
By working closely with SATRA, we ensure all our eye protection products meet strict EN166:2001 certification to regulation 2016/425 on personal protective equipment (PPE) as amended to apply in GB, for enhanced performance and safety needs.
The 89/686/EEC PPE Directive is important legislation when it comes to ensuring occupational safety throughout Europe.
