Quality management systems are at the core of our processes and procedures.

We prioritise quality throughout the entire engineering and manufacturing process, from initial concept through to final finishing, inspection, and packing.

Performance is monitored through established KPI’s and regularly audited in line with our quality accreditations.  This ensures we provide our customers with solutions that surpass their expectations and meet the highest quality standards.

Our industry certification reflects Tecman’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, innovation, and expertise, backed by a team of skilled professionals and cutting-edge technology.

Our commitment to delivering excellence

  • ISO

    ISO 9001: 2015

ISO 9001 is a globally recognised quality management standard that demonstrates our commitment to quality throughout our engineering and manufacturing processes. By implementing ISO 9001 standards we achieve improved quality and performance levels as well increased production efficiencies.

  • IATF

    IATF 16949:2016

IATF 16949:2016 is the most widely recognised international standard for automotive quality management systems. This accreditation signifies our commitment to implementing a process-oriented quality management system that prioritises continuous improvement in production processes, defect prevention, and the reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain.

  • APQP

    APQP

APQP, or advanced product quality planning, is a standardized framework enabling a structured approach to our product and process design for achieving part approval from the customer. Using APQP for automotive, and a tailored APQP Light for non-automotive customers, we are able to define the required inputs and outputs of each stage of the product development process and the parameters required to maintain product conformity.

  • NPI

    NPI

NPI, or new product introduction, is the process of taking a product idea from initial engineering concept through to use in manufacturing or assembly processes. This procedure includes a feasibility report and ensures all team members adhere to rules and regulations.

  • Engineering Change Control

    Engineering change control

Engineering change control supports the processing and traceability of engineering changes to our components and processes. The primary goal of this process is to ensure minimal disruption to products, quality improvements, and waste reduction.

  • Six Sigma

    Six Sigma

Six Sigma is used to improve our process efficiency and quality. By following a set of methodologies and tools to improve business processes we are able to reduce defects and errors, minimise variation, and increase quality output and efficiency.
