A Message from Kevin Porter, Technical Director

We had a fantastic day at P4H England last week! Thank you to everyone who visited our stand and made the event a success. We really appreciated your time and enjoyed having the chance to chat and network with you.

P4H England was an important event for us at Tecman, not only because it gave us the opportunity to meet our customers face to face, but also because it provided a platform to showcase our new sustainable PPE innovation, directly designed to help the NHS meet carbon reduction targets.

As a customer centric organisation, we can’t overestimate the value of feedback received from healthcare workers. This feedback heavily influences our product design at every stage of the process and led us to establishing Four Pillars of Comfort. These pillars underpin our products, ensuring high levels of wearer comfort and protection, whilst providing healthcare services with a more sustainable, cost-effective solution.

Optec® biomaterial reusable face shield system is a result of user feedback and our Four Pillar ethos. NHS clinicians have communicated growing concerns about the environmental impact of PPE, along with issues relating to fit, comfort, and safety, so it was fantastic to be so well received at P4H England, from the people we regard as instrumental to our product development.

We received a great deal of interest around Optec® and our sustainability agenda. We are confident that together, by working with healthcare workers and organisations like the NHS, we can bring sustainable change that will benefit our communities and the planet.
